Beard Trim & Shaping
A beard reads as deliberate or as neglected, and the difference is almost entirely in the lines — the cheek line, the neck line, and how the beard meets the sideburn. That is what this service fixes.
$25What’s involved
- Assessment of your growth pattern, density and any patchy areas worth working around
- Cheek line and neck line set where they belong for your jaw — the single most common thing men get wrong at home
- Length taken down and blended evenly with an electric trimmer
- Electric balder finish for a crisp edge
- Machine shoulder massage and complimentary refreshments
The two lines that matter most
The neck line should sit roughly two fingers above the Adam’s apple, curving up toward the back of the jaw — not along the jawbone itself, which is the classic mistake and makes a beard look like a chin strap. The cheek line should follow the natural top edge of your growth, softened rather than carved into a hard diagonal, unless the shape of your face genuinely calls for it. Getting these two right is most of the work.
Beard colour
If grey in the beard is the concern rather than the shape, Beard Color is $25 and covers grey through the beard area, including a shampoo and shoulder massage. It pairs naturally with a trim — see hair and beard coloring.
Keeping it between visits
- Wash the beard with a proper cleanser, not bar soap, and condition it — beard hair is coarser and dries out faster than scalp hair
- Comb or brush downward daily to train the direction of growth
- Resist the urge to re-cut your own neck line; most men creep it upward a little each time until the beard disappears
- Come in every three to four weeks to hold the shape

Frequently Asked Questions
How much is a beard trim in Coral Gables?
A beard trim is $25 at Prestigious Image in Coral Gables. It includes shaping and outlining with an electric trimmer, an electric balder finish and a machine shoulder massage.
How often should I get my beard trimmed?
Every three to four weeks for most men. If you wear a short, tightly-shaped beard, every two to three weeks holds the lines better.
Can you fix a patchy beard?
Shaping can do a great deal — choosing a length and an outline that works with your density rather than against it usually makes patchiness far less noticeable. David will tell you honestly what a trim can and cannot achieve for your growth pattern.
Do you offer beard coloring?
Yes. Beard Color is $25 and covers grey hair through the beard area, including a shampoo and a shoulder massage. It can be booked together with a trim.
Can I add a beard trim to a haircut?
Yes. Select both services when booking online so the right amount of time is reserved, or call (305) 640-8775.
